Happy Baby

Our weekend was really low key. We stayed home & relaxed. We’re still trying to figure out what’s the best time to wake up in the morning, getting as much as we can the night before & finding time to eat. On Monday we left home at 7 am. Mr. Cameron wasn’t too thrilled with being out & about so early.

We quickly learned that keeping him swaddled worked out beautifully. It keeps him calm during naps, through the night & even while we take him out of the bassinet & into his carseat. He usually stays asleep on our ride to day care too!

We bought the Kiddopotamus swaddler at Babies R Us (for those new to the blog world: If a word is highlighted that means it's a clickable link. I will use the links so you know what the heck I'm talking about). The Kiddopotamus swaddler has definitely been the best investment we’ve made. There’s a slit in the back that allows us to put his safety buckle through so he’s safe & super comfy.
During the weekend I made a quick trip to Old Navy. Cameron is already fitting in 3-6 month clothes & socks. The shorts/pants aren’t too baby friendly (they have actual buttons instead of snap ons for the waist) but I love their Little Bundle socks! They’re hard to find but worth the dig.
Here's Cameron's best impression of the wicked witch of the West from Wizard Of Oz. hee hee
They are a good fit & never come off.
Which says a lot because Cameron loves to kick those long, growing legs when he’s awake. Happy Baby!
Apparently happy baby doesn’t like sharing the spotlight.

The weekend went by way too fast but you know what they say. Time flies when you’re having fun!
